gold dust

sights and sounds...pull me back down...another year
i was here...i was here

beneath my raincoat...i have your photographs...and the sun on your face
i'm freezing that frame

how did it go so fast?...you'll say as we are looking back...and then we'll understand
we held gold dust in our hands

A Photo Journal

Every moment we experience in our lives is a precious moment. Even the most boring, ordinary, and mundane things become of inestimable value to us once they are past and out of our grasp.

Who could guess that reading the comics in my pjs on Sunday mornings at my old home in Eccles, or sitting on the heating vent to warm myself in the trailer, or watching movies with Shawn, Ken, & Ben in the old apartment at 1655 6th Ave., or walking across Marshall's campus on cold winter mornings would become beautiful moments in my memory? Beautiful pictures in my head?

And so I've decided, for a while at least, to record a few moments. To capture some gold dust.
